    Doug was our first rescue! After several months of living at Douglas Door we were able to reunite Dougie with his owners. Shortly after, we went to SEACCA and we found Henry. Doug and Henry would have been best friends for sure <3

    Rescued from SEAACA Shelter Downey 2018. Henry is VERY FAMOUS in the Trico Business Center, where Douglas Door is located. Henry likes to wander into neighboring offices and jump onto random desks. He loves everyone, and everyone loves him. He is purring, warm, orange fluff-ball. Henry <3

  • Boopers

    Betty Boop "Boopers"

    Boopers, CFEO (Chief Feline Everything-Else Officer), Resident Bossy Girl

    Rescued from a fire-escape in L.A. 2021 and rehomed with us. Boopers is a fiesty, bossy, girl cat. She once got locked in our neighbor’s warehouse overnight (after wandering off) and triggered their alarm system with her cries for help. Boopers <3

    Rescued from the Ramona Valley Animal Shelter in 2006. Henry wanted to be Coco’s best friend, but she, (just like Boopers) had other plans. She was the bestest girl <3

    Roxie was intimidating to look at, but she was a 130lb lover-girl. She always deferred to the felines and was Henry’s best friend. Although she was not a rescue, she loved to protect rescues and she was the bestest girl <3

    While Sergeant was a Puppy-in-Training before Guide Dog School, he spent hours and hours at Douglas Door learning how to work in an office. Sergeant and Henry were best friends <3

    Edgar is a regular visitor to Douglas Door wHen his mommy and daddy fly in from New York. Just like his daddy, Edgar works in the financial sector and also graduated from NYU-Law (Puppy Campus). When he visits, he likes to audit our books, or shred papers. Although not a rescue, he loves to visit and he wants to be Henry’s best friend <3

    Fletcher is the second Puppy-in-Training from GDA to spend time at Douglas Door. Just like Sergeant before him, Fletcher is learning all about working in an office and he is also Henry’s best friend <3

    Astro, Security Officer-in-Training

    Astro has been with us since 2023. Astro was rescued as a puppy, then rehomed to us later. Astro is 1/2 Australian Cattle Dog and 1/2 Chihuahua. He comes to the office every day and he is also Henry’s best friend (Boopers…sometimes scares him) <3
